Communities are looking for ways to bring residents and business together to build connections, pride and support shared goals.
Local live events and festivals tend to be neighborhood or cause focused, impacting the ability of the event to scale both locally and nationally.
Creating a turnkey "franchise community event" could create revenue for local community goals while reducing the costs associated with running an event. By aggregating participants and eyeballs across a national platform, sponsorship dollars could flow to participating communities that would otherwise miss out.
Key Attributes:
Recovery from the pandemic is driving renewed attention on increased socialization and improving physical and mental health.
The United States has seen decreases in life expectancy and increases in obesity and drug overdose rates, as well as steadily increasing overall health care costs.
Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.
The explosion of technology servicing the live event industry has driven the costs of collecting registration money and donations down to 6%-10% inclusive of credit cards. The more volume processed the lower the costs get. A national event could get a ticketing sponsor to help cover costs and generate an independent revenue stream outside of individual events.
