The screening & interviewing process for senior Product, Technical, Strategy roles in specialized industries is tough, time-consuming, and expensive. What if the process of vetting, screening, interviewing is crowd-sourced to a pool of subject matter experts? Candidates are then scored by SME based on criteria set by potential employers via recorded and transcribed interviews. At the same time, SME can also provide candidates with feedback on how they can better their professional skills to match industry best practices utilizing resources such as books, online courses, 1 on 1 session, and podcasts.

Within the HR tech investment space, recruitment gets the majority share of the investments, and there are a lot of start-ups in the space. AI-based recruitment players like Censia have flipped the process on its head and have eliminated the need for Job Descriptions and merged the pool between actively looking vs passive candidates as long as they have a profile somewhere on the internet.

They also provide the candidate with career resources and 1 on 1 conversations for career development/discovery to determine best fit for their next high growth role.
