College students often find themselves in need of a ride as they are traveling to and from campus constantly. Many students (including parents) have concerns about their safety of being driven late at night by Uber/Lyft drivers and how vetted they are. Current transportation options are also not readily available at an affordable price for college students when they need rides at all hours of the day.
Only recently have people gotten used to the idea of calling a ride from a ride-share platform where you receive a random driver. We are at a time where Uber/Lyft prices are beginning to skyrocket due to a lack of available drivers and the vetting process to become a driver is far too easy. Young students are concerned more than ever about their safety in an Uber/Lyft.

Buddy of mine started something called PayTrippa to help offset rideshare costs, for what it's worth! - https://paytrippa.com/
