I roomed with 5 other guys this past year and one thing that was annoying was food expiring in the fridge. Some of us would forget about fruit, milk, lunch and it would reek after a couple of days. Rather than buying a smart fridge or a dorm room, why not have a plugin or software that tracks stuff in the fridge. I started working at this problem myself but haven't got much runway.

Food sustainability. The rise in cost in goods and the desire to save money. A lot of people buy food and forget about it, sits in the fridge, and it eventually goes bad.
