It just kills me from a customer experience perspective that Apple doesn't include any attachments to the default airtag.

I suppose the "generous approach" would be that apple doesn't want to include extraneous materials to avoid waste...but I have to imagine the upsell was the driving factor.

yep. should have a rubber hang tag like on those small purell bottles and a superstrong twosided adhesive sticker. they will upsell those at $10 a piece i bet. 8-(
