Indeed... Tying executive compensation to climate, ESG, and DEI targets is indeed the most effective way to create change. But often these targets are way too low or have inconsistent measures across the industry -- and that's just for public companies. Why don't more private companies (ones financed by VC and PE) do this and promote reporting of the results?

I think a sea change is coming.
One big problem is that many companies have no idea of their emissions because they occur multiple levels down in their supply chains.
The solutions that win will be those that easily spread up and down those supply chains.
