How do we get approved for Amazon Product API

We are in Amazon's affiliate network and have been using the stripe link functionality but it would be more ideal if we could utilize the Product API to serve up recommendations. For some reason, we have not been able to get approved for it. We would appreciate any advice on how to get approved for the product API

According to prosociate.com, you have to have 3 sales in the first 180 days to progress in the program. If you've applied using the steps in their documentation and are still rejected after this, it could be for any of the common reasons listed here.

If this doesn't help, I have a few connections I could interrogate with some more information.

Can you share more about where in the process you are?

Googling for this, i found two useful leads.

The first comment on the video offers this helpful suggestion: I had this problem, but emailed them explaining I was building the site and asked if they could approve me so I could continue and within a day I had an email saying I was approved, Hope this helps.”
