About the Opportunity
We seek an entrepreneur passionate about solving one of the most pressing inefficiencies in the real estate industry. As the Founder-in-Residence, you will be in charge of bringing to market a solution that streamlines and integrates these processes, making life easier for real estate agents and their clients alike.

You’ll be building from the ground up, working hand-in-hand with our studio team to craft a solution that will redefine the real estate industry.

Coachability: Being coachable is crucial for startup founders. It's about being open to learning, adapting, and growing from feedback. Successful founders refine their vision through continuous feedback, improving both their product and their sales strategies. Coachability keeps you aligned with the market, ready to pivot, and committed to solving problems in the best way possible. It’s a key trait that shows you’re ready for the startup journey.

Sales Aptitude: Sales are everything in the early days of a startup. From fundraising to hiring to closing deals, everything revolves around selling. Instead of focusing on elaborate systems, start selling right away—get out there, make calls, and close deals. Sales aptitude is essential for getting your business off the ground.

Ambiguity Tolerance: Embracing ambiguity is vital for startup founders. High ambiguity tolerance means being comfortable with uncertainty and staying adaptable. It’s about moving forward confidently even when the path isn’t clear, which is essential in the unpredictable world of startups.
Venture-Backed & Tech Domain Knowledge: Experience in venture-backed startups and tech, including AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), is a significant advantage. It helps founders navigate the funding process, pitch to investors, and make smart technology choices, particularly in leveraging AI to enhance their products and services. Understanding LLMs allows founders to integrate advanced AI capabilities, improve user interactions, and scale their operations more effectively. This knowledge is crucial for building scalable systems, managing growth, and staying competitive in an increasingly AI-driven market.

Hello, I'm Simone Haddad, and I’m driven by a mission to fix the broken foundations of cybersecurity and infrastructure that are leaving our nation vulnerable.


As a founder, my journey didn’t start with a “perfect” idea—it started with an urgent sense of responsibility. For years, I watched as cyberattacks grew more sophisticated and the systems we depend on remained critically unprepared. Our nation’s businesses and institutions are being left exposed, and I couldn’t just sit back and watch. I care deeply about solving this problem because I believe that cybersecurity shouldn’t be a luxury—it should be a fundamental right, accessible to all organizations, regardless of size.


I’m not here to pitch an “ideal” solution, but to engage in a process of discovery with your team. The problems we face are complex, and I understand that collaboration is the key to truly effective solutions. HCTIT was built on the belief that no one has all the answers, and that’s why we don’t offer one-size-fits-all security solutions. We prefer an iterative process—working closely with partners to design strategies tailored to specific challenges. I’m excited by the opportunity to partner with you, not because I have all the answers, but because I’m passionate about finding them together.


The problem I’m solving is deeply personal. I’ve spent years as an engineer, witnessing firsthand the consequences of poor infrastructure and insufficient cybersecurity. I created HCTIT to make a positive impact, to use my skills and experiences to help protect organizations that are critical to our society—from SMBs to government agencies. My motivation stems from a desire to protect what matters most, and I believe that strong infrastructure and cybersecurity are foundational to that goal.


My approach is simple: I view every challenge as an opportunity for improvement. No solution is perfect out of the gate, and I value a methodical, yet adaptable approach to solving problems. I start by asking the right questions—what’s broken, where are the vulnerabilities, and what’s the long-term impact of leaving them unaddressed? From there, I work through solutions iteratively, always testing and refining as I go. I believe in balancing technical expertise with creative thinking, and I’m always ready to collaborate with others to find the best path forward.


In closing, I’m not here to pitch perfection. I’m here to collaborate, problem-solve, and make cybersecurity a reality for those who need it most.
