Park Cofield (he/him/his) is a consultant to social enterprises, early-stage founders, and creative changemakers. He excels at guiding people and teams through the stages of user research and product ideation to develop human-centered products, programs, and services. In his most recent work at Alive Ventures, a design studio focused on the needs of older adults, Park co-launched and scaled nine new businesses and managed the release of a marketing and insight report outlining user insights gathered from a co-design community of 500+ older adults. With a background in theater and community-based story gathering, Park has executed large-scale international projects about his Finnish ancestry, supported community-building efforts related to zero tolerance issues in Sacramento schools for Cornerstone Theater Company, and honed his facilitation skills using TimeSlips, a creative engagement strategy for caregivers and people experiencing memory loss. Park is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at USC, where he received a Master's in Social Entrepreneurship and co-built the Social Venture Coaching Competition (SVCC), a business coaching program and pitch competition awarding $125K in seed capital to early-stage startups addressing the needs of underserved Angelenos. Park has previously worked as the program manager at the Network of Ensemble Theaters, led the audience development work at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, and directed opera for youth at The Atlanta Opera. He is a passionate and empathetic leader who can bring diverse groups of people together in conversation. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two cats, and a menagerie of house plants and outdoor critters. www.parkcofield.com
