Marcus was with Sequoia-backed unicorn Wonolo for 6+ years, building a better way to work for millions of workers across the USA. Prior to Wonolo, Marcus was an early team member at StoryBox, backed by Innovation Endeavors and Blumberg Capital.

Before falling in love with building technology companies, Marcus served as the Student Body President at the University of Kansas where he received the majority of votes from thousands of his peers. His early exposure to politics later led him to Birmingham, Alabama where Marcus worked onsite with the Doug Jones for Senate campaign.

Marcus is drawn to taking the initiative and service, highlighted by his successful match becoming a Bone Marrow Donor for a stranger. He enjoys spending time with his fiancé Molly, and their Labrador puppy Frances.
