I’m Anand Chhatpar. My first startup was a brainstorming company that used college kids from UW Madison to create patents for corporations. I tried to turn it into an online platform but I could not get it to take off. Had a small exit with that. My first decent sized exit was when I built and sold Facebook apps and games with over 20 million users back in the day when that platform was a thing. I then joined another PEF member, Keith Schacht, at his company, Mystery Science, and we grew it to a market leadership position in 4 years and sold it to Discovery Education for an exit over $125M. Last year, I ran a competition to invest in AI Agent startups and ended up investing in 3 of the 4 winners after looking at 270 companies in the space. Currently, I’m working on building my own AI Agent for Amazon Ads Optimization and learning a lot about the Amazon Marketing Cloud space. I lived in San Francisco for ~15 years, and recently moved to Cupertino because we found a great school here. I’d love to figure out and build a platform company.
