Richard “D-cal” Dacalos is a mental health advocate and community builder. He has over a decade of experience as an international speaker and coach based in New York City. Over the last 15 years, he has used action research to push the boundaries of human potential.

He is the creator and co-founder of Upstart: The Board Game, which simulates what it is like to start up a business without the risk. It has helped thousands of players from 29 different countries.

He is also the author of 365 Days of Breakthroughs which is available on Amazon. D-cal is an alumnus and former advisory council member of the World Economic Forum‘s Global Shaper Community.
