Speaking about myself, I have been studying to be a civil pilot at the university in Ukraine. At the age of 19, I made the bold decision to move to the USA on my own with just $800 in my pocket. Starting from scratch, I ventured into the transportation industry when I turned 21 and obtained my commercial driver’s license.

I perceived this as a significant opportunity to create a product that would simplify the lives of millions and alleviate their stress. It was also a chance to bring positive change to the logistics industry as a whole. These problems were all too familiar to me, and I am confident in our product concept. With a substantial carrier base, Oculus Freight aims to become a cross-stakeholder product and enter the shipper-broker software market, offering added value to new users.

Drawing upon my extensive industry experience, ambition, and determination, I believe I can assemble and lead a team that will successfully launch a product of great value, transforming the operations of trucking companies.

What surprised me the most was the inefficiency and lack of optimization in this field compared to aviation. Numerous factors appeared random due to a dearth of information. When I started my own business and began managing a trucking company, I endeavored to address this problem for myself and my drivers. While I made some temporary improvements, I found the solutions to be time-consuming. Conversations within my network revealed that others faced the same challenges without a solid fix.
