Kahlil Byrd (KB) is the founder and CEO of Invest America, a technology and advisory firm focused on solving major societal problems using data, research, strategy, organizational design, and product development. KB and Invest America incubated and launched Shur, an Insurtech/Fintech working with colleges and employers to support the successful financial life journey for student loan borrowers. Shur promotes generational wealth by helping student loan borrowers eliminate early financial mistakes, build financial plans, and develop a deep understanding of prime credit-building tools. KB is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and served with CFR as an International Affairs Fellow. He graduated from Morehouse College and Harvard Kennedy School.
