Jimmy worked for several tech companies while studying computer science at Santa Clara University. In 2016, a childhood friend made the cross-country drive to work Desert Trip Music Festival and invited Jimmy to join his company as a food vendor. This transformative experience resulted in Jimmy leaving tech to pursue a career in the live event industry.

In the event industry, Jimmy filled roles as a food vendor, a bartender, and an AV tech. Working on stage, he developed a passion for concert photography and was building a budding career in live event photography that was quickly put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of viewing the quarantine as a setback, Jimmy used the time away from the stage to integrate his passions, skills, and background experience into a business – NFT Concerts. Jimmy built NFT Concerts to bridge the gap between live music and web3 with the goal of encouraging artists to record their performances and release those recordings direct to fans.
