Many families struggle with juggling full-time jobs and their children's competing school schedules, which means sacrificing sleep, time and money for things like gas, shuttles and private bus services, in order to avoid taking time away from work. This problem is especially noticeable for children who attend private school, where public transport isn't readily available, but extends to any parent who has children who attend extracurricular activities and who may have more than one child in different grades/school levels, where schedules can vary.
In the past, communities were supported with school bus systems to help families get their kids to school. Many of these bus services have been cut and families are left with figuring out how to get their kids to school on their own through carpool arrangements, assistance from family, or taking time away from work. Parents may also spend hundreds monthly to find an alternative solution. Existing options are expensive, unreliable or unsafe.
