I'm ready to take it on, and the timing is right. I'm putting out feelers to see if others are interested:

1. I need a developer or a small dev team.
2. A UI/UX designer, or a small team.
3. I'll lead the charge on the product design. "No advertising" will be a central theme.
4. We'll move extremely quickly. 1 week to assemble the team. 2 weeks to develop the product and a functional spec, and 2 weeks later for an MVP. The target will be 500k users within 3 weeks after launch. 8 weeks total.
5. I'll handle the business, brand design, and marketing, and lead the team.
6. Lean and mean. Hold on tight!

Twitter as we knew it, will disappear. The timing is right to go back to the original mission; groups of like-minded individuals keeping tabs on what others are doing based on their status updates.

The future is unwritten, as they say. How do we update the mission? What are the best uses of an incredibly widespread communications platform? How do return to helping send aspirational messages, without hate or judgment, and without incessant advertising and the thrust of pure ego and celebrity? How can the discourse be funny, informative, etc., and most important, useful?

Do we have the answers? Of course not. But we do have the opportunity to wipe the slate clean and start over again? Yes, we do...
