Content Delivery outside of App Stores. Nobody wants to pay the app store tax. Delivering content on the web is not a technical challenge. There are emerging non app store distribution channels (Facebook) - Don't need a metaverse to stream content, but facebook trying to unbundle app stores will be a forcing function
