Even in today's digital world, 70% of retail sales still come from physical stores, and 50% of retail sales are made during the holiday season when customer mobility is high. Many of the sales are gifts, so buyers are not the ones using the products.
Customer data on who uses their products, where they use them, and how they use them is not available to brands.
