More specifically: each of use has values and dietary restrictions (e.g. no dairy; peanut allergies, etc). We should be able to take a photo of restaurant menus, having entered our preferences, and get enhanced menus enriched with our dietary considerations (e.g. strike out ones I'm allergic to; highlight ones I might like). The app would learn preferences and suggest new items, given past ratings.
Further, users could upload images to the specific to the menu items after ordering. The processing of these menus is becoming easier with document extraction tech becoming commoditized.
