This is such an excellent idea. Maybe hyper localized small ideas to start. Projects that only compete with private sector to start seems most frictionless. Rough sketch #1: Crowdsourcing projects from inception to completion. A platform is built that allows sign ups from Inceptors (those w ideas), Expert/Managers (those w vertical expertise ans organizing skills) Creators/laborers (those who can make it, build it, fix it)

STRUCTURE

1) Job/task/project/budget is posted/suggested by an Inceptor: individual or group (we want to do “x”, in the category of “y”) — and they request an Expert/Manager to propose an outline of scope/budget/timeline/labor, including

2) Signed up manager accepts Task challenge and organizes project (based on budget, creating timeline, phases, staff needs)

*maybe each project gets 3 proposals, or extends to 10 etc as network effects grow). Maybe there’s a window of time for proposals, 10 days or whatever, then all submissions are reviewed and voted on by community on platform.

3) Project is green-lit, timeline is set, jobs are posted for creators/laborers to sign up/sign on on platform. Depending on work maybe it’s gig based with rotational daily shifting labor, or maybe labor signs on for duration, in that case maybe labor opportunities are rotated. Ratings allow managers to vet workforce… tbd

Questions: how are projects organized/centralized? a) Location/zip code (neighborhood/neighbors)? b) private group/collective/cause? Non-local: Collective interest spanning geography?
