Proposed as an existing solution to Mentorship/Sponsorship Platform
This is my startup that I founded with the aim of better preparing college student for industry, decreasing transition time from college to career and theorizing that through early exploration, industry development and mentorship it will improve the quality of life - establishing health work life balance.
We offer hybrid of traditional internship and freelance work, again that is industry specific. We also implement office hours for them to connect with mentors in the field. Employers serve as mentors out of the value that students complete growth projects that fit the businesses needs.
We believe that this hybrid model increase the value for mentors/employers while allowing students to develop their skills and experiences that led to their career goals. Also we are hyper focused on servicing historically disadvantaged communities thus we source and onboard students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities with plans to source from all Minority Serving Institutions by Y3 of launch.
