About the Role
As a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer, you’ll play a critical role in creating and launching products for Platform’s portfolio companies. Collaborating closely with non-technical founders and the studio team, you’ll focus on translating ideas into tangible, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
Build the MAP (Minimal Awesome Product): Quickly assemble components using existing tools and platforms to validate concepts efficiently, prioritizing impact over building from scratch.
Technology Strategy: Define and implement the product’s tech stack and infrastructure, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
AI Integration: Leverage cutting-edge technologies, including AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Models (LLMs), to develop automated workflows and enhance product features.
Team Leadership: Collaborate with the studio team to assemble and lead a technical team as the product grows.
Collaborate with Founders: Work directly with non-technical founders to align technical execution with business objectives and market strategy.
Iterate and Scale: Use user feedback to improve product features, optimize functionality, and prepare for scaling phases.
Experience & Skills Needed
Full-Stack Proficiency with JavaScript: We expect JavaScript to be the primary language used, but experience with other languages is beneficial. Bring experience across the full stack, with the role leaning 60% backend and 40% frontend, requiring strong skills in server-side development, API design, and integration with frontend frameworks.
Proven Ability to Build from 0 to 1: Creatively assemble and optimize tools and platforms to deliver impactful, scalable solutions.
Hands-On Experience: Build web-based platforms, ideally integrating AI, Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), and a focus on automation.
Hacker Mindset with a Bias-to-Action: Take initiative, thrive on assembling components rather than building from scratch, and maintain a strong sense of ownership.
Collaboration Skills: Work effectively with non-technical founders, translating technical complexities into actionable solutions and aligning execution with business objectives.
Passion for Solving Big Problems: Thrive in ambiguity, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and navigate the challenges of startup life.
