Trees as a Service is in Stage 2: Research

 The Unmet Need

While massive reduction of carbon emissions should remain the primary focus, properly planned tree planting programs can remove significant amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere over time.
However, both companies and individuals need help with the execution of large scale tree planting.
Some of the key "jobs to be done" are to identify land that is appropriate for tree planting, to secure the rights to plant on that land (buy/lease), to execute the tree planting, manage the land, and report back on the results.

Love that article @Francis and it is on point 💯!!! We can't even think of cutting down trees as any part of a solution. We have so much plastic waste and we keep making more of it! We need to challenge ourselves to cleanly repurpose/re-engineer our junk into new materials.

So, the question we should ask of any idea (to quote him): There are 51 billion tons of greenhouse gasses emitted annually, what is the percentage reduction a proposed scheme offers? 👀

He keeps it 💯 when he says: “Technologies that will never exceed one per cent should not compete for the limited resources we have for getting to zero...”
