Here’s where I see the opportunity of Union2.0 to, not only create short-term immediate wins, but to also drive change at the stakeholder level. To quote @Tim, “board reps for each of the 5 stakeholder groups: employees, customers, community, climate, shareholders.” So, there are dual paths to creating meaningful change.
But also shines light on the true challenge that the traditional Union has. These particular employees had to face down the option of A. Join a union or B. Lose the best paying job I've ever had because the company packs up and leaves town. I wonder in situations like this how a platform could rally customers to help back the employees since customers have some semblance of power over the company.
